Please volunteer for the Salties 2nd Annual "Take Me Saltwater Fishing" event on Wednesday, August 27. We need your help to make this another successful occasion. The Cape Cod Salties, Mass DMF, and the Town of Yarmouth are hosting a "Take Me Saltwater Fishing" community clinic on Wednesday, August 27th, from 3 PM to 6 PM. We expect a strong turnout of beginners and young anglers eager to learn about saltwater sport fishing. The Saltiest will set up several stations covering fishing basics: rods, bait, tackle, knots, proper fish handling, and more. Additionally, Robert Chenoweth, founder of PaperFin, will demonstrate gyotaku fish printing at the event. See http://www.thepaperfin.com/. The regular monthly club meeting is canceled for August since this event falls on the same day.
