The Cape Cod Salties Sportfishing Expo includes participants from the local fishing community, including community organizations and bait and tackle shops. The expo also includes interactive learning activities and classroom seminars on fishing led by local experts.

It‘s that time again; time for the river herring to return to their spawning grounds and restart the cycle of plenty and abundance for our North Atlantic fishery. Our finned friends are counting on YOU to clear out the herring runs and give them ‘smooth sailing‘ back to their spawning grounds! Time to start the annual Cleanup of the Cape Cod Salties herring runs!!
Meet at the Swan Pond Village entrance on Forest Road, South Yarmouth. Park where you see other Salties‘ cars.
Items you will need, waders or hip boots, winter rubber gloves, long handled clam rake with basket or standard iron rake, one additional member with a chainsaw.

The Cape Cod Salties, Mass DMF, and the Town of Yarmouth are hosting a "Take Me Saltwater Fishing" community clinic for kids on Wednesday, July 22 , from 4 PM to 6 PM. We expect a strong turnout of beginners and young anglers eager to learn about saltwater sport fishing. The Saltiest will set up several stations covering fishing basics: rods, bait, tackle, knots, proper fish handling, and more. We encourage all members to come out and support the Saltiest and our broader community at the third annual "Take Me Saltwater Fishing" clinic. The regular monthly club meeting is canceled for July since this event falls on the same day.
