With the warm winter average temperatures it is estimated that the Herring will begin returning early making it time to start the annual Cleanup of the Herring Runs.
For the first project we will meet at the Swan Pond Village entrance on Forest Rd. S. Yarmouth.
Items you will need, waders or hip boots, winter rubber gloves, long handled clam rake with basket or standard iron rake, one additional member with a chainsaw (I will bring one).

Sandy Pond Herring Run cleanup: Help Needed on Friday March 10 at 9 A.M.
Members will assemble at the dead end of Townbrook Rd. in W. Yarmouth, off of Buck Island Rd. right next to the Yarmouth Fire Station 3.
Please log in and register for this event so we have a count of members attending.
We hike in on regular walking trails and the work is easier access than Long Pond Herring Run that we finished last week.
With a reasonable turnout of members this will be a one day event.
